The move is a follow up to the agreement reached at the London anti-corruption summit in May.</div>

The Attorney-General of the Federation, Mr Abubakar Malami, who signed on behalf of the Federal Government in Abuja, noted that the MoU reflected the willingness of both countries to continue cooperation and mutual support.</div>

He outlined the objectives of the MoU to include the fact that the processes of returning stolen assets was a partnership recognising the interest of both countries and based on mutual understanding, confidence and trust. That both countries recognised that they have a mutual interest in ensuring that returned assets are not at risk of being misappropriated again.</div>

<span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-family: inherit;">Flanked at the sides by the Ministers at the MoU signing, the Vice President emphasized the importance of technology as a means of adding value and improving the lives of millions of people.</span></span></div>

<span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-family: inherit;">He said “we are at a point where technology is important for making a difference in the lives of the people”.</span></span></div>

<span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-family: inherit;">For instance, he said there is the need to develop specific technology solutions that can target low level subsistence farmers, small, micro and medium enterprises with the resultant effect of impacting lives. However, he further noted that “the challenge is how to ensure that these initiatives and innovations will benefit the majority of the people”.</span></span></div>

<span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-family: inherit;">While commending the initiative to engage with the Global Good in the effort, the Vice President charged the partners to ensure that measurable targets are set in order that tangible results can be achieved.</span></span></div>

<span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-family: inherit;">“I think we should be able to set targets, to have useful interaction in terms of how much we are able to achieve; this target should be on a scale, for instance, in the next one or two years. It should be based on measurable targets to keep our focus”, Prof. Osinbajo explained stressing that “at the end of the day, it will mean we’ve impacted so many millions of people”.</span></span></div>

<span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-family: inherit;">Earlier, Mr. David Keogh, the Director of Global Good Fund, who signed the MoU on behalf of his organisation and led the Fund’s delegation, said the Fund is on a social mission to deploy technology in the area of agriculture and healthcare that will impact many people in Nigeria. He stated that the company working in collaboration with multi-lateral agencies, non-profit organisations and governments, engages in identifying challenges in different value chains and provide technological solutions to these value chains.</span></span></div>

<span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-family: inherit;">The MoU signed between Nigeria and Global Good will provide the framework for identifying the specific challenges in identified sectors such as in agriculture and healthcare and provide the necessary technological solutions to impact the lives of the people. In an unlikely coincidence, three Irish sisters gave birth on the same day at the same hospital. And what's more remarkable is that their fourth sister was expected to give birth sometime soon after her 3 sisters! Mairead Fitzpatrick and her sisters Joeline Godfrey and Bernie Ward all gave birth at Mayo General Hospital in Castlebar on Tuesday.<br /><br /><br />While the siblings were given close due dates, they never expected their babies to share the same birthday.<br /><br /><a href="https://www.blogger.com/null" name="more"></a><br /><blockquote class="tr_bq">
“We never thought it would all happen on the one day,” says Fitzpatrick, who gave birth to her son first at 3:25 a.m. The new mom named him Thomás Óg.</blockquote>
At 11 a.m, Joeline welcomed her daughter, Sorcha, via C-section, and finally around 8:30 p.m., Bernie gave birth to her son Phelim.<br /><blockquote class="tr_bq">
“The two girls that delivered my little boy delivered Bernie’s boy as well,” Fitzpatrick said. “So two women delivered two cousins in 24 hours.”</blockquote>
The hospital staff was just as surprised by the remarkable coincidence as the sisters were.<br /><blockquote class="tr_bq">
“We're all talking about it... the fact that we have four sisters in and it's never happened, as far as we know anyway, going back some time,” said maternity manager Mary Salmon.</blockquote>
Christina Murray, the fourth sister, is now waiting for her little one to arrive. Her due date was on August 30.<br /><blockquote class="tr_bq">
“It was just so funny the way it happened really,” Fitzpatrick said. “It was my first, Joeline’s second and Bernie’s third and it’ll be Christina’s fourth.”</blockquote>

The 32-year-old South African woman named Mosiea Moosa who initially lied that she was 7 months pregnant, was actually carrying packages of the drugs in her stomach and her urogenital tract. She was arrested on August 30 when she landed at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad, India from Dubai on an Emirates flight,The Times of India reports.  </div>

<a href="https://www.blogger.com/null" name="more"></a><br />Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) sleuths became suspicious after looking at her passport and travel pattern over the last one week. On subjecting her to medical examination, they discovered that she had swallowed the banned drugs which were packed in small polymer packets.</div>

She was rushed to Osmania Hospital by the NCB sleuths to get the packets of drugs out of her body. The NCB sleuths intercepted Mosiea at the RGI Airport after she arrived from Dubai by Emirates flight EK-526 on Sunday morning.</div>

<blockquote class="tr_bq">
"When we intercepted her, Mosiea said she was walking with difficulty as she was seven-month pregnant. When we shifted her to a corporate hospital at he airport for preliminary examination, she admitted that she was carrying narcotics in her stomach," a NCB officer said.</blockquote>
By giving laxatives, the hospital staff managed to extract 16 pouches of narcotics substance. The NCB officials confirmed that no surgery was performed on the woman and she was under medical supervision.<br /><blockquote class="tr_bq">
"We have not yet conducted checks on the narcotics recovered from the culprit. However, by looking at her travel pattern and the narcotics market, we suspect that the substance could be cocaine from Brazil," a NCB official said.</blockquote>
According to the NCB, Mosiea landed in Dubai from Johannesburg on August 23. The next day, she took a flight to Sao Paulo City (Guarulhos International Airport) in Brazil. On August 28, she returned to Dubai from Sao Paulo. On Sunday, she reached Hyderabad from Dubai.<br /><blockquote class="tr_bq">
"As a major portion of cocaine consumed the world over is manufactured in Brazil, we believe that she was carrying the contraband. Her return journey to Johannesburg has been booked from Hyderabad via Dubai on September 10," the NCB source said.</blockquote>
The NCB sleuths believe that Mosiea brought the banned substance from Sao Paulo, and after a break in Dubai for two days, she landed up in Hyderabad.</div>

"She is returning to Johannesburg only after a gap of 10 days. So, the receiver could be somewhere close to Hyderabad, but the final receiver of the product could be anywhere," the NCB official supervising the operation said.</div>
