People living close to the Calbuco volcano in the south of Chile have been warned that it might erupt again at some point soon.
The volcano has blown its top twice in recent days, sending a huge cloud of ash in to the air and forcing thousands of people to leave their homes.
Gideon Long reports from the capital Santiago.
