Some of the females that were rescued from Boko Haram camps in Sambisa Forest last week have given horrific accounts of how they were stoned and in some cases some killed by the sect members for disobeying their orders.

27 year old mother of a 5-day old girl, Lami Musa while narrating the trauma they experienced in the sect members camp said
“We just have to give praise to God that we are alive, those of us who have survived. Boko Haram came and told us they were moving out and said that we should run away with them. But we said no. Then they started stoning us. I held my baby to my stomach and doubled over to protect her. Some of us died during the stoning.” she said
Another survivor, Salamatu Bulama, who she was kidnapped from Lassa village in December 2014, narrated how a group of women hiding in the bush were run over by aNigeria military armored personnel carrier, whose operator did not see them hiding in the bush when a military operation was ongoing.
"I think those killed there were about 10,” said Bulama.
Bulama said she lost her 10 year old son in Sambisa forest as a result of malnutrition.
